Williamsburg Route Map
By Car
Williamsburg is midway between Richmond and Norfolk on I-64 (exit 238 - VA-143 toward US-60/Camp Peary/Williamsburg/ Colonial Williamsburg).
After exiting, look for the Colonial Williamsburg/Downtown Williamsburg directional signs (blue with red-and-white “ribbon”). Follow the signs for VA Rte 132 about a half a mile. After passing through the traffic light at Rte 60 the road will split:
- For An Occasion For The Arts and downtown Williamsburg – Stay right on VA-132 S ( This is North Henry Street). Most of the public parking for An Occasion For The Arts is off of Henry Street. Parking and Area Map (2 pages)
- For the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center – Bear left on VA-132Y (address: 101A Visitor Center Drive). With Colonial Williamsburg Visitor’s Pass you can take the complimentary shuttle bus to Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area and An Occasion For The Arts beginning in Merchants Square.
By Train
Amtrak serves the Williamsburg Transportation Center with a connecting train from Washington, D.C. and the lower Peninsula. The center is just two blocks from An Occasion For The Arts and the Historic Area at the foot of North Boundary Street.
Exhibitor Parking (permit required):
- To access the designated Exhibitor Parking off North Boundary Street: From Lafayette Street turn onto North Boundary, then left onto the street before the information tent. The Parking deck is on the right.
- Exhibitor Parking off Grigsby Street is accessible from North/South Henry Street (Rte 132). Turn onto Francis Street, then left onto North Boundary Street, and right onto Grigsby Street.
